gwen decided she didn't want to go to the vet. i was taking her in to get her set up with a vet off base, and to have a lump on her back checked out. well, i open the door and go to give her a little tug in, and she snaps out of her gentle leader! :shock then starts haulin' ass across chesapeake blvd! :censored 4 lane divided....fairly busy street. holy shit! :scared so i'm screaming and running after her. then i get her attention and try to run from her to get her to chase me, and it worked for a little bit, until i turned around and tried to get her. a vet tech came running out to help, and thankfully we got her. :whew so we get in the clinic and i'm crying and shaking as i'm filling out paperwork. it was awful.

but, at least the vet didn't charge me cause all he did was feel the lump and tell me it's probably a reaction to a vaccine and that's it's nothing to really worry about.
