Ok, my new lil doggy Nina is 15 months old, and has no interest in any dog toys we have in our house. She is, however, shredding paper and cardboard and even gnawed a wood block. :banghead Won't touch a toy! My other dog, Jasper, loves his stuffed toys that squeak, LOVES them... Nina runs away from them. I don't know what to do. I have never had to crate Jasper, and I don't want to have to crate her while we are out (I don't work so we're never gone toooo long) but I'm not sure how to distract her from chewing paper and wood. She's so crazy!

Also, she has pooped 3 out of 4 days she has been here. I believe all of them were right after being outside too! She hasn't peed though. Any thoughts on this? The old owners said she was housebroken.... and it puzzles me why she does it right after being in the backyard.

An advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Trying giving her a treat everytime she goes and potties outside, also there is some spary at the store that you can spary on the wood and other things to keep them from chewing on things. Why not try a pig ear or cow hoof too, only give it to her when you get ready to go so that she has something to do.

K I know we have the pig ear things here... my other dog won't touch em so I don't have any at home. I'm not sure if we have the spray but if we do I will give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

Maybe try taking her to petsmart and showing the toys and see what ones she interested in? My girl is picky about toys too but my boy will play with anything. also when you are up there get the soure apple spray it is great!

Yeah we are overseas.... no petsmart for us.
I looked at the exchange and we don't have the spray either.
I bought a ton of different chews and toys. She had no interest but I left em laying around the house so we shall see!
