I think one of my neighbors is breeding pits for fighting. I have spoke to animal control and they have yet to look into it. The other day as I was leaving the house there were 2 boys petting a pit bull puppy next to my house ( the puppies owner was there hold the leash) I walked over to the dog b/c it was soooo cute and pet it. as I was doing that I heard that man say to the boys " well if one of you wants to buy it let me know." So I spoke up and ask why he'd want to sell such a precious dog. His response was " well this one isn't aggressive so nobody wants to buy it.." WTF!! I called animal control and they said without some proof they can't look into it.. :mumble:banghead Is there anyone else I could contact???

As big as a problem that dogfighting is and with all the Vick stuff, it kinda pisses me off that animal control is doing nothing about it. I always thought a call would warrant an investigation. I sure hope something gets done about it.

I havn't seen anymore puppies, so i'm not sure... I called the police dept, and they said they would send someone out to talk to the owner... so we'll see...
