okay, so i spent over 2 hours sitting at petco today waiting for my turn to get my dogs vaccinated. it was looooong :nutts it was cool though because the lady in line behind me was another navy wife so we chatted.

i just have to say, those clinics rock! i spent $98 and got both dogs all their shots (except leptospirosis...they said with some breeds they can have reactions and go blind??). i can't even take ONE dog to the vet for shots for under $100!

as an added bonus, both dogs even behaved! lol

I took my dogs to that a few weeks ago and my dog ended up having an allergic reaction so I called that luvmypets place that does it and they never even called back. I had to take him to the emergency vet which ended up costing more than what I spent on the shots. I refuse to go there now. I paged them at least 6 times and they never even called back.

dang it, i totally forgot that that's where you had your problems! how big/old is your dog? mine are both 7 and over 15lbs so the lepto was the only one they wouldn't give them. neither of them has ever had any problems before so hopefully they're okay (one of them DID puke in meagan's room a few hours after we got home, but i think it's just because they were stressed out the whole time we were there and in the car and stuff. they seem fine now). i kind of HAD to go there due to the situation i told you about :giggle
