So...DD is finally to the point of teaching mommy to watch what she says.

Yesterday she spent the day repeating after me. At one point she said "Damn it." At another point she said "Crap." And at still another point she said "Oh my GOD" <--- which I NEVER stinking say, but if you'd have seen the mess you'd have likely said the same thing. It was always immediately after I said it.

Three different points yesterday I had to tell her "Paige, do NOT say that, that is a mommy word." And she looked at me like I was from Mars. :sigh

So...here we go. It's thanks to her that I quit smoking, and now finally thanks to her it looks like I'll be stopping the occasional profanity as well. Yesterday was a difficult day :rofl

:lol

My 3yr old nephew used to have a habit of saying 'Christ' whenever he dropped something. My mum would tell him to say 'Oh dear' instead and he'd reply 'Oh dear Christ!' :arg :giggle

My brother was the same way except he would say "S%*t" :lol Everytime my mom would drop something she would say that so one day he dropped his bottle and out popped that word. :lol My mom tried really hard after that not to say it. :teehee That also ended up being his first word.

I call those words "potty words" Just keep correcting her and try to find some different choice of words for her. I finally have all three of mine out of that. good luck
