Ok, so I posted about a random dog that wouldn't leave my house and was upsetting my dogs this morning... He finally got picked up. But during my dogs barking Noah was woken up so I held him. I had put him to bed, but about an hr later I woke up screaming. I couldn't look at the floor b/c I thought I had fallen asleep and dropped him. Wes had to yell back at me and point to his bassinett to show me that he was there. I had never been so scared in my life. Anyone else have any dreams/feelings like this about/with their child(ren)??? It was :nutts!

It's happened to me. A sudden panic until you realize everything is fine.

oh I did that all the time when my kids were newborns. Hell, I would go as far as waking up in a panic because I thought they quit breathing and I didnt know (the whole SIDS thing scares the shit outta me) Anyway, I will usually go over to their beds and nudge them a little til they move...then I'm happy.
I dont even start letting them sleep in their own rooms til about 6-9 months old. Of course, I breastfed all of them too, and that was generally the time they started sleeping thru the night.

I did that a few hrs after our car accident actually :giggle
We were driving back home from Dallas around 9pm and I had drifted off and then I woke up screaming because I *thought* that if I didn't stay awake, dh would crash the car and we would die.
Lol. I *think* it's normal :yes
