i woke up with a horrible sore throat from my nose draining constantly into my throat all night. i am miserable. anyone else know of some good homemade/grandma remedies for sore throats and just a head cold in general? i've got chicken soup and tea. anything else

When my throat hurts from drainage, I gargle with salt water to break up the mucus.

And I use a neti pot to flush out my nose so there is less drainage to come.

water, lemon juice and some honey in a tea cup. Heat it up and sip it. Works GREAT for sore throats and coughs. I used that when I had bronchitis at 7 weeks preggo with Ash
