DBs cousin is stationed in Drum and she's a medic too. She doesnt really care for it up there cuz its cold, but she says there is SOME civilization around lol.. I cant tell u first hand, I havent been there and hopefully wont have to be. I think the next for us is Fort Stewart

I'm at Ft Drum. we are an hour north of Syracuse and about 45 min from Ontario. The thousand islands region and the Adirondacks are both great for campers/nature lovers. we are getting more stuff here now. We have 2 Walmarts (1 super), a Target, Bed Bath & beyond, michaels's etc. there is a really nice recreation Park on base. they just built/are building a whole bunch of super nice housing. Housing on the economy sucks however and so does the clinic's child care policy. they are enlarging the Px. Most jobs for spouses are 6-7/hour unless you are in the medical field or something. The jobs on base may pay more. we have a great Pwoc program. hmmmmm...pm me if you want to know anything else. we have been here for over 2 years. But PM me if you need to because I only get on this site a couple times a month.

Im at fort drum too! Its not that bad!

I'm sure it's fine...but describing a town as "has two wal-marts" doesn't sound like the kind of place where I'll get work. Going that long without a portfolio update is suicide in my business. :(
