DS and DD have birthdays a week apart. DD will be one, DS will be two. DH and I have NO clue how to work this. He's thinking of having a joint birthday for them. I thought about just one for DD, but then what about DS? Anyone else deal with this? Anyone have any ideas?

my best friend just did a double party for her 3 year old and one year old. it turned out really good. I told her it would be easier to invite everyone at once than having to deal with the headache of two parties a week apart, plus it would be cheaper. They are also young enough that they wont be "needing" their own party. good luck

If it were me, I would do them together till they are a litte older. Right now, they are still young enough that they dont get the jist of it all.

Joint birthday it is! My mom was making me feel bad for it, so I wanted some unbiased opinions. Thanks, ladies!

My birthday is the 12th, my youngest sis the 7th and my mom's is the 8th of November. We ALWAYS had the family bday on or after my bday since it is the last one of the three. But as far as bday's with our friends they were seperated. We're 5 years apart though

My mom's birthday is also November 8th.
I think I'll have it in between their birthdays. Thanks for the replies, ladies!

As long as they are little it would be fine to do them together I guess. My brother's birthday is December 18, mine is December 20....not to mention my sister is December 10. My brother and I shared a lot of birthdays and birthday cakes. It wasn't so much fun when we got older. I think by the time I hit my teens my parents started letting us celebrate separately. It was all difficult anyway with Christmas the following week.
