Our yougest, Rocky, just suddenly became violetly ill (which, in itself, put him into pure panic mode). I thought he had just eaten too much because he has a tendency to eat his food AND everyone else's as well - but he just didn't seem "right". I was walking through the living room to get something to clean up his mess and that's when I saw it - the "glow stick" that DS had been playing with...laying on the floor with glowing "ooze" coming out of one end. That end was fully of tiny teeth holes - from Rocky!!! :eek
I went into full panic mode - grabbed him and the container the sticks came in and started reading. Talk about confusing - it says "non-toxic" but "do not ingest". I got a hold of our vet and he says it is not "deadly" but Rocky won't be feeling the best for a while. The good news is he seems to have cleared it all out of his system (good for him - bad for the carpet) - his biggest complaint now is that he is mad about the fact that I gave him a bath to wash the bits he had gotten on his paws while playing with the stick.

Awwww, I'm glad he's okay now! My cat once bit open a glowstick too. I didn't see it because I was away at college at the time, but my mom said he was running around crazy and foaming at the mouth. It didn't do any permanent damage though!
