(KDKA) MOON TWP. Pittsburgh native, Olympic gold medalist and current professional wrestler Kurt Angle was arrested over the weekend.
Police in Moon Township say Angle is charged with a driving under the influence.
A woman alleged that Angle nearly hit her with his SUV Friday as Angle was leaving the Sea Shell bar's parking lot along Beaver Grade Road.
The woman took down his license plate number and reported the incident to police.
Officers went to Angle's house and gave him a field sobriety test which led to the arrest.
He was taken to Sewickley Valley Hospital for blood tests which he refused.
That refusal led to the automatic one year suspension of his driver's license.
Angle is still facing a hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and careless driving.
