My husband is supposed to be home tomorrow for his r&r, but i have yet to hear from him. we have two airports that he could fly into, and I don't know which one he is coming into. I am so confused and worried that something has happened on his trip. How long does it usually take for them to get home for their r&r? I haven't heard from him for almost a week now. i usually hear from him everyday.

I would wait until tomorrow morning, and see if he contacts you by then. I know sometimes it can take them a few days, depending on where they are. He may be traveling and unable to call. Do you have an FRG to contact?

I had this same problem. My DH got hung up for a week in Kuwait after he got there, waiting on a flight out. Than he called me from Atlanta and said he was on standby, gave me two possible flight times and hung up before he told me what airport.. I called Rear Detachment, they were able to track down where he'd be flying into. By the time he called me from GA, I'd not heard from him for 5 days. :hug I'm sorry, I know it sucks...such an exciting time but stressful when you don't know for sure what's going on.

I wouldn't worry just yet. I agree with what was said above... he might just be travelling and not have a way to contact you. I'm sure everything will work out. Hang in there and enjoy your time with him when he finally gets here... Have a great day! :)

I'm sure you will hear something soon. They do have alot of stopovers- if they are coming from Iraq or Kuwait then they are usually fly into Ireland or Canada. I'm sure he will call you when he can.
