I think you are my hair twin. LOL. I saw your hair in those pics of you and Riley inside the B52 and your hair looks just like mine but lighter. So, since seeing someone else with hair like mine is RARE, I got questions for you. Haha.

Is your color natural or dyed or just highlighted or what? You should SEE my roots. LMAO. They are HUGE. I have done like every other color on the planet so I think I am just going to go with normal blond now (with a few peekaboos though), and you are going to be picture I take to my stylist to describe what I want done with the top. Haha.

What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Just curious. :P

My hair twin!! :hug :woohoo Is a freaking frackin nightmare to comb out? I seriously wash my hair every 2-3 days because I dread combing it out! :freakout It takes like 20 minutes to comb out, and 30 minutes to blow-dry (which I never do because it only makes it more unmanageable!!!).

I have tried EVERYTHING, and I love the purple conditioner by Joico, it works wonders to keep it from getting brassy. And surprisingly, Victoria's Secret conditioner is AWESOME. It's really thick conditioner, and it shortens my comb out time to about 5 minutes! :wow I only found out about it a couple weeks ago. Worth a shot if you ask me!

I get it highlighted, but I am just like you, with 3 inch roots all the time because of the cost to highlight hair that long!

Is yours natural? How about a pic please?? :prettyplease

What do you use for shampoo and conditioner? Any tricks or tips you care to share?

Dude, you need to use Aussie. The BEST conditioner I have ever tried for keeping my hair mostly tangle free is the Aussie Moist conditioner, and the best part, you can get it at the grocery store! I use the Cleanse & Defend shampoo from Aussie because it smells like HEAVEN, then I use the Moist conditioner and leave it in my hair for like 5 minutes before I rinse it out. It makes it a little greasy by the end of day 2, but totally worth it not to have to rip through my hair. I can't use the Moist shampoo too though because it makes my hair too greasy.

I am totally gonna have to try the Victoria's Secret conditioner next time I go to the mall though! Anything that helps with combing this bitch out is worth a shot. :giggle

Blow drying takes me FOREVER too!! I love blow drying it because it gets the waves from the bottom layer out, but OMG it takes FOREVER. Straightening it takes even longer. If I wasn't so afraid of damaging my hair I would just go get it chemically straightened.

My color is not at ALL natural. I think it's probably like four colors right now because I am trying to grow it all out. So, I have the brown, blond, and red in it from when I dyed it last year, then about 8 inches of my natural dirty blond, and then a big fat blond streak in the front that it grown out a few inches now too. LOL. Surprisingly it all blends in really well though. I DESPERATELY need to get it fixed though. I want to go all over blond with highlights and low lights and a few red peekaboos. We'll see when that happens. :screwy

My tips... COMB IT IN THE SHOWER!! You know how as soon as you rinse the conditioner out is when it is the easiest to manage, but as soon as you get out of the shower it immediately starts to twist around itself? Yeah, if you comb it out as soon as the conditioner is rinsed out while you still have your hair under the water it gets a lot of the tangles out. Then just ring the water out and comb it again before it dries. I usually don't even bother brushing it until it's almost dry (same thing with blow drying) because it just seems to tangle it up more. Also, if you leave a tiny bit of conditioner in your hair that helps too. You don't have to leave very much, just rinse it out like you would normally but stop when it feels like you would only have to rinse for another 30 seconds to get it all out. My Grams taught me that trick when I was younger and my hair was too my butt. LOL. Totally works. Oh yeah, and Infusium leave in treatment is good for getting tangles out. It makes my hair a tiny bit crunchy, but if I brush it out the crunch goes away.

I will totally have Adam take a pic of my hair tomorrow. No guarantees that my face will be in it, but my hair will be!

I have heard a wide tooth comb and conditioner in the shower can do wonders. I used to comb it out while the conditioner was in there when I used to bleach the entire mop (:scared :hehe I was 18 and didn't know better).

I will have to get some Infusium. I have been using kids detangler spray, because most of them leave my hair heavy and greasy. I can handle crunchy though!

I will definitely get Aussie too. I used that when I was really young and haven't tried it since. I will have to check it out!

Do you have any special brushes? I have heard that boars bristles or some crap is good. I know I am supposed to use combs, but I usually use brushes... easier and make my hair shinier.

I go through brushes like no one's business because I am sooooo picky. I don't usually use brushes with hair like bristles though. It gives my hair mucho static cling. LMAO. So, I usually use plastic bristle brushes, and as long as the brush is one solid piece and not different parts put together I can deal. I hate the ones where the handle and the top of the brush are separate because my hair always gets stuck in the crack between the two pieces. :lol

And I swear I haven't forgotten about taking a pic. I am just lazy... :P
