brentscrystal 10-21-2007, 02:11 PM That sounds like fun, but we have some stuff going on here!
Hey, what was the name of the steak house that your family owns? I think we drove by it last night.
PrincessBlue505 10-21-2007, 02:59 PM It's Coach-N-Four.
Hope u have fun!! Lots of things are going on that Saturday since it's the last one before Halloween, so I had a feeling things would conflict. I know I had a few choices in things to do that were all at the same times... I was going to this though, so I thought I'd ask.

I've been there! We ate there for new years day with friends from Church a couple of years back. Good food, DH loved his steak!

That's cool. My cousins own the one in Pensacola, my Aunt and Uncle own the one in Ft. Walton (Ft. Walton is the one Crystal was talking about, I believe). The Ft. Walton one used to be my grandpa's before he died-I used to have birthday parties there when we'd come out here to visit (I'm from CA) in the afternoon before they opened. lol The Ft. Walton one has great prices for a steakhouse.
I'm addicted to their steak sauce. lol
brentscrystal 10-21-2007, 04:17 PM Hmmmm, now I want steak for dinner... lol! ;)

We have gone the last couple of years and plan on going this year as well. Its a lot of fun.
Callie 10-21-2007, 06:32 PM This is on Sat night? We may go. I will let you know. It really sounds fun. Do the kids have to be dressed up?
BTW, I have been to the Coach N Four in Pensacola, and its pretty good. I want steak too darn it. lol!
PrincessBlue505 10-21-2007, 06:39 PM Do the kids have to be dressed up?
I don't think they have to be, but there is a contest if they are...
I'm going to TRY to have Hailey dressed up, but we'll see how she responds. lol
This is on Sat night?
Yup

lol I'd say we should have a get together there, but I always feel weird like I'm seeking a discount or something (even though I never ask for one). So I only go there if I'm eating with them so I don't seem like a mooch looking for free/discounted food all the time (plus they expect me to let them know I'll be there so they can see me while I'm there so it's not like I could just go there and try to stay under the radar or something.)....
MarksGirl0107 10-22-2007, 11:43 PM We just moved down here and I have a 2 y/o and a 12 y/o. Would they have fun at this? I am so looking for things to do with the kiddos. We don't know anyone or what to do? Any help would be great!

From the activities listed and since the costume contest is for 12 and under, I think they'd have fun. I don't really know for sure though, we haven't been yet since I've lived here less than a year...
DD is 2 and I'm taking her.
IWwife 10-23-2007, 11:23 AM It is always fun, I will be attending this year as well. I am right now home alone with the 3 kiddos...7,2,8mon, so anything confined and safe is good for us, I only have 2 hands...lol
Are you planning on meeting up before hand and following one another to the Park?
Thanks
Bren
PrincessBlue505 10-23-2007, 12:52 PM I was planning on just meeting up at the park. Is there like an entrance to the festivities away from parking? If so, that'd probably be a good place to meet up unless someone knows of somewhere else that would be good. I haven't been so, I don't really know what's there or what it'll be like...
PrincessBlue505 10-26-2007, 01:11 AM *Bump
navycorpsmanwife 10-26-2007, 03:42 PM We are still planning on going
PrincessBlue505 10-27-2007, 12:02 AM I decided to try to squeeze in the Aviation Museum between my squadron party and the carnival. The Museum will be "coming alive" like that Night at the Museum movie from noon to 4. Since our squadron party ends at 3 and I'll already be on base, I have just enough time to squeeze it in before the carnival.
So if anyone wants to meet up, I'll probably be there at about 4:30. I'll wait around what hopefully looks like a main entrance to the carnival area for a little while (if there is one, I never heard back from anyone and haven't been to this before). I'll probably wait about 15-20 minutes. If no one shows, DD and I are going to go enjoy the carnival. :) Hope to see some of u there!
navycorpsmanwife 10-27-2007, 11:43 AM The aviation museum sounds really cool. Is it open to everyone or just the Blue Angels group?

I was already gone for the day when u posted this so I didn't know to look for u.
I think I saw u guys though-I remember that combo. Actually, I think DD was trying to talk to ur DD when u guys were buying tickets but ur DD was more interested in another little girl in a costume. I was wondering if that was u and was going to say something but then I saw a guy walk up and I remembered u said u were dealing with all 3 alone so I didn't say anything. Were u wearing a grey Navy t-shirt?
DD was Tinkerbell and I had a pink and grey Jeep Cherokee stroller. I was wearing a blue top and black pants and we were at the front of the line for the hay ride forever (I was actually waiting to see if anyone showed up to meet me and inadvertently started the hay ride line in the wrong spot..lol)...Here's what she looked like today. This was as we were leaving the Carnival.

navycorpsmanwife 10-27-2007, 10:10 PM Darn it!! I thought that was you, but by the time I got up to where you were standing you were getting on the hayride and then we got on the hayride when you got off and never crossed paths with you again. Your daughter was adorable as tinkerbell.
My oldest daughter was an Indian and my baby daughter was a bee. Sorry we missed you guys though.

We had fun anyway.
