DH and I were married in August of 07 and he left for deployment in September 07. I wasn't enrolled in TriCare before he left. I am on his DEERS but is there any way I can enroll myself in TriCare? If so, how do I do this?

You should already be enrolled in TriCare, just TriCare Standard. You can call TriCare and ask if there's a local TriCare office. You can enroll in TriCare Prime there.

Here's the TriCare website http://www.tricare.mil/mybenefit/

i think the first time you're enrolled (prime), you have to have the service member do it or have POA. try looking it up on their site. Sorry I'm not much help!

I found this on their website:

As an active duty family member, when may I enroll in TRICARE Prime and when will my enrollment be effective?

You may enroll in TRICARE Prime at any time, The completed enrollment form must be received by your regional contractor on or before the 20th of the current month for coverage to begin on the first day of the next month. If the form is received after the 20th, your coverage will become effective the first day of the second month. Contact your regional contractor to request an enrollment form or download a form by visiting http://www.tricare.osd.mil/enrollment/index.cfm.
