I have a question hopefully someone can answer it. If a service person moves from one job on a ship to another job on another ship are they give a new email address with their name on it? Example: johndoe@ddg10005.mil/gov (whatever). Or do they take on the email address of the person who was in the position previously?

they get their own, depending on the system on the ship or base. sometimes its last name then first initial sometimes its first intial then last name. some boats still might have the ships name in it. my DH's used to be @bridge.mil
