I know allot of people look forward to the extra pay when thier hubby deploys but since mine is reserves now, even with all the extra pay for when he deploys in Dec and it being tax free, were taking a $25-30K pay cut.
He will be doing a 29 Day AT right before he leaves and Im trying to figure out how the hell Im going to live off of training pay:wowsers for a whole month and get christmas and b-days for 4 kids :irked
He recently went to MO for some training for 2 weeks and when I seen his pay ( it was like $1100) for 2 weeks, I wanted to die):tears
So has anyone experienced a pay cut and how did you handle it?
Im sure it just takes time adjusting to it all
