Ok, first I want to say that yes, I realize you can make a baked potato in the microwave in like, 5 minutes.
But, I like to make sure my crock pot gets plenty of use, so this is how I do it! (plus, its nice to have them done when you get home, or if you want to make tons at a time)
Stab the taters with a fork a few times
Wrap in foil
Put in crock pot. I would do it on low if it was going to be for all day, or just high for a few hours.
Simple as that!
They are sooo good, we do it like this all the time. DO NOT ADD WATER!! And watch to see if they over cook. I dont mind them well-done (can a potato be well done???) but you know what I mean. They get dark if you cook them too long.
Enjoy!
