Does anyone know how he can get this tranferred to me so that I can use this for school, or how all this works? Also, about how long does that process take? Any information is helpful!

Really? Another Army Wife and DF told me that it could be done. Did I just misunderstand? Hmm. :thinking

Nope, not for spouses, sorry! There is a special program, but it's for the Army, it's part of a reenlistment package, they have to be a special rate (MOS), and I *think* it subtracts from some of their bonus. He would have to specifically ask for it though, and if he isn't in his enlistment period, it won't matter anyways. Something to keep in mind for the next enlistment period though if he qualifies... here is more info:

It's a common misconception in the military. There is only that program, which is part of reenlistment (in exchange for part of a bonus, and can only be used for up to half of his GI Bill) that does that. Otherwise, on a regular basis, no, they do not offer it to spouses.
