I've been looking everywhere (about 7 stores to be exact) for Veteran's Day cards, and I can't find one. It kind of made me mad, actually. I could find Halloween cards, thanksgiving cards, and "Sweetest Day" (whatever that is?) cards. Yet I couldn't find a card for day of the year that celebrates WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Korean War, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans.

The store clerks seemed confused when I asked if they had them, too. I'm going to make my own card now, which will mean more to him anyway. But still, considering all that our Veterans have sacrificed for us, can't they at least get a card?

I know what you mean! I've neve rbeen able to find any. That or deployment ones either! I did however at the beginning of the summer, find a card that had a baby with an American flag wrapped around it with different military hats all around on the floor. And it was blank inside. The kids picked that one out for a friend who was deploying! Now I wish I had bought more than one! :hairpull

Silly question - but have you tried asking the ladies at Hallmark? They always seem really nice to me, and sometimes they have little sections just 8 or 10 cards for some of the less-celebrated holidays.
