okay so it just recently hit me that i will be in San Diego at this time next week... and the next day i see Kevin!! after 8 longgg monthssss.

HOLYY SHITTT!!! i feel like time has just flown by and now im ridiculously nervous. last night i couldnt sleep because my heart was pounding so bad that it hurt! i guess its even more emotional because his date got changed and we had already bought the plane tickets so i had to cancel and rebook plane tickets (with some effort and alot of stress and MONEYY) and now im flying alone just so i can see him walk off that bus. i have been dreaming about that day for sooo long so there is NO WAY i was letting it go!!

i wanted to know if anyone else was in my shoes right now or if you have stories about the first time seeing him after a long deployment... were you this nervous??? ahhhh!! :bliss:bliss:bliss:yahoo:yahoo:yahoo

First of all....I am soooooooooooo happy for you!!! 8 months is a long time to go without seeing your man. I hope you have a great flight and you have the time of your life when you see him again. :)

To answer your question...

DF has been gone for 2 months now but I didn't see him for almost 6 weeks before he deployed because we are long distance normally. By the time I see him in a couple weeks it would have been 4 months for us. No where near as long as your 8, but it really has gone somewhat fast and I am very excited to see him....not so much nervous...but maybe things will change in the next week.


Anyway....you have fun with your guy when the time comes! :D
