Waiting on my call too. He almost always calls when he says he will..Guess something major is going on with his work...its still a let-down nonetheless...

Try not to get upset with him if he doesn't call when he says he will, if he is deployed or at training he doesn't really have control over when he calls. I know its hard, but try to remember that! :) I hope you hear from him soon!

It sucks when they don't call when they say they will. Even if he is busy and can't call it still doesn't make it better on your end sometimes. :hugs

It is Sunday.
It is 7 am now.
He said that a few of the guys were gonna eat breakfast at 6-7 and he was gonna get up early to call me (5am)...

i really want to know what happened.

Many phones are down? Or he was so exhausted he slept in!

Please give the guy a break! I know how tough it is to long for those calls that sometimes don't come but some things are beyond their control!

If he is deployed it there could be a million and one reasons why he didn't get to call. Try not to get upset at him.

:agree sometimes they are so busy & on a schedule that they can't call when they plan to-Its not because he doesn't want to-just relax a bit sweety

I've cut DB some slack on the phone calls lately...by the time he gets off work, EVERYONE else is too and EVERYONE is in line to use the phone...

but we IM every day for a couple of hours so its not so bad.

I know how you feel... I've experienced a lot of what you are right now, several times since my DF left on deployment. All I can say, is stay strong and try and find ways to keep busy so that you dont have so much time to think about all of your sadness and disappointment. He doesnt mean to let you down by not calling when he says that he will, trust me, if he's like my DF then he's just busy and cant call... He'll call when he can... Cheer up! :)
