Dh is leaving for training in January through April. After that, he will have a second leg of training but I get to come with him and live in temp. housing for about a year. Anyone ever lived in temp? What's it like? Any suggestions? Comments? Etc....?

at dh's base, its like a studio apartment. just kitchen livingroom and bathroom.. almost like living in a dorm room..

My father was in the Air Force. Temporary Housing is very nice. You have a bedroom and a kitchen area and bathroom. Usually comes with pots and pans also. Kind of like a business hotel room, you know the ones with the kitchens and the dishes and all of that. Not bad at all actually. Plus it is right on base so easy access to all of the Rec facilities and all of that, commissary.
