bless his little deployed heart lol, DB has tried calling me about 6 times the past night and we haven't been able to talk:(

The first three times I had no signal which is frustrating in itself. Then around 5 am this morning he called and I answered (however my parents came to visit me this weekend and were sleeping close, didn't want to wake them up) so I was trying to whisper, but DB couldn't hear me. He called back two more times thinking it was the connection :tears I felt SO awful.

Then he was texting my phone (through his email, saying how much he misses me) so I wrote him back because I could do that and not make noise obviously....so then he must have thought my phone was working, and he tried calling me AGAIN!:tears

It literally made me sick to my stomach:pukey, what a miserable miserable night:( I feel even worse because when DB tried calling me later he probably lost his spot at the computer:(

I hope he's not frustrated so much that he won't try calling again tonight:(

lol sorry this is more of a vent I suppose:vent

awww im sorry i know how frustrating and horrible it can feel when you miss a call... or lose it because of connection or anything like that. i missed 2 calls IN A ROW from kevin back in the beginning of the deployment just because i went to the bathroom for like 30 seconds and i was sooooooooo upset... i just started bawling instantly. i hope he calls soon and you can talk :hugs

I'm sorry you didn't really get to talk to him! The next time he calls while you have visitors, why not go outside so you can still chat?!

:hugs

lol yeah I know I wish I could have. It was 5 am though, I was in shorts and a tshirt and it was 30 degrees, and am in a tiny apartment so I couldn't have really gotten outside without waking everyone up:sigh

i'm always paranoid that they're going to get frustrated & just stop calling, but they never do :)
