RockstarMom 10-29-2007, 03:09 PM the (Elmo) Sesame Street Talk, Listen, Connect DVD. The kid's deployment DVD, for those who are confused!
The kids broke the one we have and Gwen was freaking out! It should be here within 2 weeks. :whew We NEED it because C leaves again after the holidays.

haha thats good to hear.His dad was airforce in a "non war time" (yeah yeah,thats a relative term...haha) so he never had major deployments when he was a kid...but we both agreed this is so cool to have something to help the kids cope while their parents are gone.
RockstarMom 10-29-2007, 03:31 PM It really is a very cute DVD- though, don't watch it with your kids that 1st week after your DH leaves. You will be guaranteed to cry like a baby! I put it on and left the room. Bad, yeah, but it made ME CRY!

i just watched the preview and stuff they have on the website...Dh hasn't even left or got orders yet...and i still started tearing up just thinking about when that'll happen one day....

Did you order it? I think it's excellent to keep on-hand even if you aren't anticipating a deployment, these days you never know. :no
Mandi 10-29-2007, 03:41 PM Debra had given me their extra one last year. DS loves it, but doesn't understand what it is about yet, he thinks it is just ole sesame street :teehee
But I totally agree about watching it. I cry everytime whether he is home or not! LOL

yeah i'm going to....she LOVES elmo and this would make things a little easier i think too...

It makes me very emotional.. I watched it a couple times with DD but never could make it through without blubbering like a baby...
