The warning labels thread made me think about this. Who else hears the "side effects" for some of the new prescription drugs out there and laughs. Doesn't it sometimes seem like the side effects would outweigh the benefits. My favorite are the ones that go through a LONG list and end with, "and possibly death." Oh please, I want to take something that could kill me just to get rid of a headache, please :sarcasm

Just wanted to see who else gets a kick out of these sometimes.

My son just had cream to get rid of an infection. The side effect list was HUGE! It was crazy how much of a chance a side effect was. I don't know if I want to risk getting sicker to take care of one thing!

Lexapro:

COMMON SIDE EFFECT = Anorexia

(Anorexia means a loss of appetite not the disease, but couldn't it have said "loss of appetite". Anorexia seems more serious.)

That was the one on when i wrote this. I was like, WTH. just so my legs don't feel restless. Is there really not a better way to work on this. Like maybe workout or do some leg exercises or something to tire them out more. I mean, seriously. This is something I would think there would be easier ways to cure than risking the effects.

I mean there are some serious diseases where I can see why you would need the medicine to take care of it, but this is a situation where, umm.. not necessary is it?
