My DH does. He doesn't "like" it but he's proud of me and knows that I want to make my own money. I'm going to try and put myself through school. He totally hates the idea of guys looking at me but regardless of where I am I have a zero tolerance for guys acting like pigs, so I guess that's why he is ok with it. I was just curious about you guys and your husbands/boyfriends whatever.

He would not care.. but would get a kick out of it.. since I have no hooter thanks to the kiddos.. :lmao

He would prefer that I didn't, and I have absolutely no desire to, nor would I even if I were a size 2. He'd be uncomfortable with the clothing...or lack of lol...and so would I. I'd also not do so well with the dealing with that many people. I'm just not a "people person".

Yep they still wear the really short orange shorts, they don't really 'show' thier boobs but the shirts are still super tight. Most of them, at least the franchisees, aren't doing the stupid tights any more though (the patnyhose machine takes up WAY to much room).

used to work for them...for like a month or so...it was no big deal..i think that dh wouldn't care either since it's a look don 't touch thing...

i said maybe. if i was working at one near a retirement community probably he wouldn't mind AS MUCH but if i was working at one near a military base he'd be more worried

My point is that I know that majority of the board doesn't mind their man going there, going by previous posts about this, but yet when this question is asked- the guys have a problem. So what I'm saying is if it's supposed to be an innocent joint and girls shouldn't care if their guy goes, why does the guy on the opposite end care? That's implying that there IS something wrong w/ going. That the guys DO ogle women. I've worked for Hooters for 2 years and been at 4 different stores. I'm currently at the Killeen store outside of Fort Hood. DH (who was DF when I got hired) was proud of me and went around telling everyone he was engaged to a hooters girl.

Um what to say about it... I don't flirt for tips. I just hang out and chat with people. I always talk about my husband. I make good money. Oh and I look good doing it. Haha so whatever. The uniform is very tight and unforgiving but hey it's a gimick and it's what makes Hooters different. It's been a good job so far and they know how to take care of their employees. But when I'm done with school at the end of the year I'll be leaving to practice in the field.

I don't think my hubby would really care. Hell, it looks like fun to work there and to get a employee discount for some good food.
