So both me and my hubby know we want to have a baby. Right now he is at Basic and he wants to try when he is home for Christmas. My concern is that if I do get pregnant he will be in AIT til April in a different state and will miss out. He is a very involved guy and I don't want him to feel like he missed out on the whole experience. Am I just over thinking it? What do you guys think?

You don't normally start showing with your first till about 3 mmonths, so you shouldn't be that big. He would miss out on the first ultrasound, but will be there for the second (most important, find out sex US). And you would be due about August/ September which is still nice weather to take the baby home (I don't like the cold). I think it would work out for you
