Sydney has this new thing where she spits in her room:mumble:no. I just caught her in there chewing up cereal and spitting it out on her tv stand and playing in it:tsktsk. I've also caught her taking drinks and spitting them out in her floor, on her tv stand and spitting in her little tea set:biting:banghead. I have yelled at her, stood her in the corner, spanked her and nothing is working, she still spits in her room:banghead. How do I get her to stop:thinking?

I will tell you what I did with my ds when he was in the spitting phase.
I told him that it wasn't very nice and that isn't how you act in the house. also about how it can cause people to get sick from the germs when he spits ( this hit home since he was learning about that in his daycare class)

Ahhhh. I remember that stage. Only Breanna would spit on or at me. She spent alot of time in the corner or in her room. Within 1 week she was done. I remember one time I spit to show her what I didn't want her to do and that made it worse for the rest of the day. I won't make that mistake again. :giggle Good Luck hun. That time was not fun at all so I feel for ya. Especially being this far pg, too.

i've heard suggestions like every time they spit on something in their room take it away because they don't "respect" it

i'm going to try standing her in the corner everytime i catch her doing it and stick with that punishment. i'm just so tired of her spitting all the time, it's so nasty.
