Do you keep your costumes out for your kids to play with?

G begged to wear her Lion Halloween Costume this morning and since it was still out, I let her.

I think I may put them away tomorrow after I clean everything tonight.

A wore his TMNT costume for a MONTH straight last year and the year before!! :nutts

If they are nice ones, I keep them for next year and resell them at the consignment store otherwise they become play clothes :)

My son has a dress up bin that all of his costumes go into. He runs around the house as spiderman one minute, batman the next. It's fantastic for imagination play.

I would let her do that too CC, but I am planning on having another baby sometime down the road and I have a 1yr old I'd like the costumes to stay nice for, for his future Halloweens. :giggle I have like, 12 size 2-4 costumes for boys and girls. I (L) Halloween costumes. :lol

I still have DD's very first costume, it used to hang on her wall (fairy costume)... She wore last year's costume the other day, when she wanted to be a cheerleader.. We'll keep this year's Dorothy costume too.

For me they can wear them full time after halloween. ours are gender specific so there is no wearing later on down the road..

My 2nd baby is a girl, so no chance in saving anything from him for her. So he gets them, as well as she'll get hers b/c there should be no 'more' kids for us.

We keep them out and they play with them

Mine keep them in their closets for dress-up, which is usually every weekend.

All halloween costumes go in the dress up trunk. I paid for them I want my money out of them :)

I let him keep it till he breaks it/messes it up. LOL, then it gets tossed out.

Elly wore her snow white one for a few years... even to the grocery store (yah, I got looks, but I really was not going to wrestle with her... I just wanted milk). Then she wore it to DisneyLand last year... she could not have been happier.
I am sure I will have issue with the new Cinderella one.

I let my boys use them as play clothes. My oldest loves to wear them around the house.

Until it falls apart...lmao. My daughter wore a fairy costume (when she would play dress up....or just watching tv...lol) for almost 2 years!!!!! It finally ripped at the arms because she was too big..roflmao.

I don't leave theirs out for them. I have a tote they all get put into for next year. I saved all of them incase we decide to have another one.
