View Full Version : TMI
AG2Wife 11-01-2007, 11:25 PM How open are you with posting TMI on the board? ... Are you comfortable talking openly about your sex life, about yeast infections, discharge, etc? Or do you keep it to yourself?
second, do you mind reading others TMI?
i (L) you. as we were just talking about, there's certain things i will NOT be open about.... discharge, sex, personal health issues involving poop/etc. are on that list. LOL
Sweetest*Agony 11-01-2007, 11:28 PM Honestly...... I dont care. :rofl
90 percent of us here are woman.. we know what eachother are going threw... when it comes to female things. So why would it matter? LOL
And as for Sex life... Eh.. we all do it.... well most of us do.. so its not like its a new topic.. :rofl
MaggieMae 11-01-2007, 11:28 PM I have always been a very open person, a lot of people tell me I share too much... I can't help it though. I am very honest. If I find someone has put TMI in a post, I would just skip right over it and move onto the next one.
billysgirl 11-01-2007, 11:28 PM i'm pretty much an open book everywhere i go... so i've come to accept that i will almost always say too much :lol there are things i won't talk about, like how i use to live my life (i was a little irresponsible) that stuff is embarrasing, but i have nothing to hide!!!
harrisonsdream 11-01-2007, 11:29 PM I have always been a very open person, a lot of people tell me I share too much... I can't help it though. I am very honest. If I find someone has put TMI in a post, I would just skip right over it and move onto the next one.
agree. if you are concerned about how TMI the TMI in the title means just don't open it. some people think asking if boob pain is TMI and others think that TMI is only going into severe graphic pornographic detail

ya gotta remember though- anyone can read the board.
Jennie 11-01-2007, 11:38 PM i (L) you. as we were just talking about, there's certain things i will NOT be open about.... discharge, sex, personal health issues involving poop/etc. are on that list. LOL
I agree to a point.
I have talked about my sex life before, like fave positions, exes, and that sort of thing, but I don't go into great detail about my current sex life as that is no one's business.
As for reading others, I don't care really. I don't like to read "Omg, I just had the best sex ever" or "I'm gonna go have :sex, be back later" kind of threads.
I don't care, I am very blunt about my life. I like sex, we are adults, as for discharge and stuff well if I have a question I have a question, might as well ask noone has to answer me :)
MelissaMc424 11-01-2007, 11:44 PM I (L) ya Beckey, and no I don't go into graphic detail about my personal issues.. I know most people don't want to hear it..
harrisonsdream 11-01-2007, 11:45 PM ya gotta remember though- anyone can read the board.
yeah but pillow talk which is where all the sex stuff should be posted is 250+
Devinn 11-01-2007, 11:47 PM Oh I can talk about anything...
the overabundance of funky discharge during pregnancy..
oh, yeah the post I made a while back about something "falling out" after my colpo.
I remember one thread I participated in was whether or not I would let my SO spooge in my face
:lmao
was all THAT tmi?
Sweetest*Agony 11-01-2007, 11:53 PM I dont care who reads the bored to be honest. I dont have much to hide and what I do have to hide.. I never talk about. :shrug
mrskmw 11-01-2007, 11:59 PM I tend to keep really personal things to myself and not throw it out there for all the world to read but no it doesn't really bother me when other people post about stuff like that.
I agree to a point.

:yes
if others want to share about their discharge and sex, good for them :thumbsup
for me, i'd rather keep it to myself or to people IRL who i absolutely have to ask for advice or something for some reason...
AirmansPrincess 11-02-2007, 12:03 AM nothing is TMI for me haha. I feel MORE comfortable talking about things like that here, than in person. I have always been open with sex tho, its a great thing!:yes
AG2Wife 11-02-2007, 12:07 AM i look at it with the thought of who is reading this- my employer? DH's employer, someone I couldn't openly talk to that person about, would I want them reading it? I wouldn't want someone at DH's work coming up to me & repeating something that was personal. So no, I'm not open with the TMI stuff. If someone posts about TMI, sometimes I'll really think it's inappropriate & disgusting, but it's not my place to call someone out for posting that they got an STD or something.
valerie 11-02-2007, 12:16 AM i am a really open person and nothing makes me feel uncomfortable. if there is something i dont want people to know i wont post about it. but i love posts that say " i am off for some sex or i am going to have sex this weekend." just makes me happy for people. and a little jealous. ;)
SezzySue 11-02-2007, 12:54 AM I usually post about it. More abotu sex life then say BM but I have done both. I don't mind reading so long as I have a warning
Bryanna 11-02-2007, 01:01 AM i am more than happy to talk about ANYTHING that is currently an issue with ANYONE.
but for myself, i try to remain respectful about what i say. IE i dont post about my sex life unless i am in 'pillow talk' or it is relevant to the thread i am currently replying to. and if im starting a NEW one, i try to keep out overly involved details unless they are required to be stated... then i warn everyone that it is TMI--and then it is probably a Q i have.. not me just talking.
