What are your favorite flowers?

well I love stargazer lillies, roses, and carnations. I know thats more than one but I like variety LOL

wildflowers, orchids, and gerbera daisies. I absolutely do not like roses, carnations, or lilies, those feel like funeral flowers to me. Yeah, I'm :screwy But DH has been known to pick the carnations out of a flower arrangement before giving it to me :lmao He knows me too well.

I dont think I have even seen roses at a funeral before. Maybe people send those, but if I were to send flowers to a funeral home it wouldnt be roses. LOL but roses to me symbolize love. But Gerbera daisies are very pretty too.

I dont think I have even seen roses at a funeral before. Maybe people send those, but if I were to send flowers to a funeral home it wouldnt be roses. LOL but roses to me symbolize love. But Gerbera daisies are very pretty too.

You are right! Maybe I don't like roses because it's what the X used to get me all the time: white ones only. And now I have a negative association to them :thinking I'm more of a laid back gal anyways, I'd sooner get something picked off the side of the road (which DH has done :D) than a formal bouquet of anything.

But really, all flowers are pretty in their own way, even dandelions! (As sgmwife mentioned :yes:teehee).

well that makes perfect sense to me. You really dont want to get anything that reminds you of your ex if it was a bad relationship. Dont blame you one bit. I have even told my hubby that I would be happy with any flower he got me as long as he got it out of love and it was a total surprise and I wasnt expecting it.

Tulips, Orchids, plumeria. If I have to chose roses I like the two tones ones, mostly yellow/orangey :)

I love the flowers that smell nice. Gardenias, tuberose, Pikake... I know there are a couple others but those are all I can think of right now. :)

I love roses and orchids and gerbra daisies.
But my all time favorite is Stargazer lilies. They smell HEAVENLY! And they last forever! Really, it would be any of the lilies, I can only think of the Stargazer name though.

DH has a tradition of always giving me red & white roses - so those are the most special to me.
