I am having contractions every few minutes but no pain with them. Makes me nervous cause the DR told me that if I have tightening of my stomach that doesnt go away it could mean my placenta is abrupting more. But at least this tightening is going away after about a minute. Maybe she will decide to come out this weekend!

How frequently are you having them? If you are having more than 4 in an hour I would go in. But that's just me. :goodluck

They are anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes apart. I am gonna try walking around the house and see if they go away. I would rather know now if I need to go in cause Tony has to go to work tonight and I will be here alone.

Man, girl.... I wouldnt be at home :lol
That is just me though, especially since your suppose to be on bedrest. I have heard to many things about the placenta abruption that would make my ass be in the hossy.

Drink more water and get those feet up. You don't want to hurt baby and if you are on bedrest that is what it means. They don't sound like contractions. more like BH. Call the DR if you have more problems.

Try taking a warm bath. That's what my DR told me. They sometimes stop if it's false in the warm water.

Same here. They were totally easy contractions, I wasnt even thinking of pain meds.

I layed down and rested. I am still having them. I called L and D. They said if they get to be 5 minutes apart or the tightening does not go away to come in. So I am going to take it easy. Tony is going to work but he only works 10 minutes away. So you ladies will have to keep me company tonight,....lol

Oh and teh only reason he let me come home when I asked to is because the tear is small (1cm) and the bleeding had stopped. He said there was a chance the tear would repair itself.

That is just me though, especially since your suppose to be on bedrest. I have heard to many things about the placenta abruption that would make my ass be in the hossy.

My sister had a concealed abruption... she never bled out and almost died because the doc and nursing staff didn't believe her when she said that something was wrong. Please be careful and if you think, even for a moment, that something isn't right... GO IN! I'm not telling you this to scare you, I just don't want to see anyone go through what my sister went through and still has to go through with my niece today.

dont walk.... you're on bedrest!!!

:agree

Good luck!
