Like sports wise? DD is in gymnastics, has been since she was a lil under 3. Sine we started her young she is already in a more advanced class that will start doing competitions. SHe wants to start Ballet so we have been looking into that. We plan on starting yDD in gymnastics when she is old enough

I was in ballet and tap when I was 4-5.

Then I did brownies when I was 7&8.

I got into horseback riding at 8 and continued that through high school.

I also started playing the violin when I was 9 and played through high school.

As I am sure everyone knows my kids are into bowling big time. DD has been doing it 4 years and DS is in his 2nd full year. I also signed them up for basketball and cheerleading that starts in December.

We have had DD in softball, ballet, jazz, and cheerleading. The only one of which she has excelled in and LOVES is cheerleading, and her demeanor really suits it. DSD has been in soccer, softball, and dance too.

meagan takes ballet and gymnastics once a week at the base youth center. she started the gymnastics a few weeks before her 3rd birthday and the ballet when she was around 3.5 (she could've started at 3 though).

i wanted to see if she wanted to play soccer, but they have to be 4 so maybe next year. however, if she does soccer, something else is going to have to go because we're already running around like nuts lol.

kylie hasn't started anything yet because she just turned 2 in july (you have to be 3 except for gymnastics...she could have started that at 1.5, but it's a "mommy & me class" and i don't have anyone to watch meagan during it). i'll let her pick between the gymnastics and ballet and see what happens.

My dd is in Girl Scouts she has been doing that since she was 5. Also she is now in Awana, which she could have started at age 3.

She also did a dance class on base when we lived in Great Lakes. She loved it.

well, Noah is only 22 months but he helps me put up dishes (hands me non sharp objects), takes stuff to the bathroom from the shopping bags, puts up his toys and goes on "paci searches" which entails him going to his room and finding his paci for bed. He also is in charge of loving his baby brother and throwing away the diapers. Noah loves to do his chores!

First, I tried t-ball when she was 3. She was really good at throwing. I had eevn seen her throw a ball up in the air and hit it with a bat at that age. I thought for sure she would love t-ball. Boy was I wrong. She didn't even make through the first practice. I ended up chasing her the whole time to try to get her back to the group to practice. Practice was in a field at a park so once she got a glimpse of the slides and swings it was over. She practiced a whole maybe 10 minutes. At that age all of us parents had to stay and we practiced with the kids.

Breanna started ballet at 5. She loved it. They went into a room so us parents weren't able to watch. I didn't like that but she had so much fun I dealt with it. She was always showing me her ballet moves at home. But they sold out to another company that was more expensive and the classes were shorter.

So then I put her in cheerleading, she is 6 now, and she loves that. I'm the team mom so I'm able to stay, watch, and coach every practice. They have cheered at games for the boys their age. And they have cheered with high school cheerleaders at 2 high school games. They also have 2 competions. Tomorrow is their first. She has said she wants to continue. When we watch high school, college, and professional cheerleaders she says that is what she wants to do.

We have thought about getting her into piano lessons. We have a piano so we thought it would be cool if she knew how to play it. But she doesn't seem that interested. Once in awhile she likes to sit up there and make noise with the keys but that is where it ends.

I'd like her to do cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance :lol He'd like her to do some kind of karate class. So, depending on when they are & what she likes, she'll do one or both of those.

Oh, and girl scouts is an absolute!

And for the summer next year, I'm going to put her in soccer :)

She's an aggressive kid who likes to throw things/balls & likes to kick balls, so I have a feeling she might be more into sports playing than cheerleading or dance. So whatever she might like to try, I guess.

My 8 yr old loves doing Brownies. She is also getting signed up for Karate and piano lessons.
My 12 yr old was also in Girl Scouts and she is going to play softball in the spring and then start Navy Sea Cadets this summer. She has also taken dance lessons. The last couple of yrs she hasn't had to sign up for much because the school she was in had the dance and voice lessons as part of her schedule.
