I have to post something to see what else has been posted, but the thread still shows up under new posts, but when I click on it, I cant see whats new unless I post something.. Have you tried a manual refresh? Try doing a refresh by hitting your F5 key.

Its probably something simple, but I think he probably upped your security settings for your internet, so your browser is probably not wanting to accept certain things from this site that it needs to in order for you to do the things you normally do on here.
