I've never used it for desserts, but I have a crockpot recipe cookbook and the cobbler allllways looks delicious....I wonder if that's good?! Rach 11-08-2007, 04:35 PM I've tried a few different meats in the crockpot and I just dont like how the meat is cooked (except maybe chicken). So I'd have to say Becca's Taco Soup, which gets made every week now as thats what he wants for lunch :lol and I like chili recipes. DakotaCowgirl 11-08-2007, 06:16 PM Someone at church made a cake in the crockpot and served it warm. That was so good. It was a pudding mix on the botten with 3 cups of milk, and then make a packaged cake mix and put it on top. Cook for 1.5 hours and serve with ice cream. It was sooooo delish. Jennygirl 12-17-2007, 03:41 PM Super yummy Roast Beef... 1 sirloin or any good cut roast 1 cup of water 1 pack of au jus mix... I take the roast and stab it with a fork all around it..I put it in the CP... I mix the gravy mix and the water together and then I pour it over the roast... I then take some season salt(we use johnnys) and Montreal Seasoning and coat it will with the MS seasoning. I also put some in the liquid. Cook on low for 8 hours. I shredd it and use it for sandwhiches or just eat it that way. Its great with prevalone cheese. rosebud* 12-17-2007, 04:09 PM Pot Roast and Chili. Although pulled pork rates right up there. :yes |
