What do you buy a 7-month-old for Christmas? DD doesn't need clothes and I am really at a loss of what to get her.
When my first was a baby we didn't bother doing gifts for her, but this time there are two kids and I want to be fair to both, but I'm really stumped for gift ideas.

at christmas time dd will be almost 7 months old and I am at a stump what to get her to. I really wouldnt get her anything but older dd thinks she will get the same amount of stuff as her from santa. I have seen lots of cool learning toys for babies that age.

I would just buy her one or two new things and maybe wrap up some of her older things so that your other child thinks she got the same amount.

I would get things like board books, shape sorters, nubby ball. Things that stimulate. I dont think you need to get as much as you get for your oldest though.

I would get books to read to the babies, board books for them to look at, or a couple of toys for 9+ months since they are almost there. But mostly get things you need anyway. :hugs

I would do as the other suggested and get board books. Maybe some bubble books for in the bath, some stacking toys maybe? or blocks?
My DD was 7 months last year and she got a push along walker that was also a shape sorted. It played all kinds of music and had lots of buttons to push. She loves it. You can pick stuff like this up really cheap on Craigslist.org or Freecycle.org (which is all free stuff). Most of my DD's stuff is from one of those places. Or eBay :)
Another favorite is the laugh and learn playhouse from fisherprice. it's about $100new, but I got one on Craigslist for $15 for my DD. She's now 17 months and it's still a firm favorite.
Just a few ideas. Good luck!

When my daugher was experiencing her first Christmas I got her books, toys for 6-12 months, bath toys, and clothes for the next year. She was little, she just wanted to open things. I asked friends and family to donate to her college fund. I didn't really need anything, I just wanted her to have things to open since that's the best part at that age.
