On their back, side, stomach, in a seat, etc.. *Crystal* 11-04-2007, 02:39 PM Rhyann sleeps mainly on her side, but sometimes she will only sleep on her tummy! Veronica 11-04-2007, 02:56 PM Val slept in her swing for a few months and then moved to her crib. I put her on her back, if she flipped I left her that way, but I never placed her on her tummy. Jennie 11-04-2007, 02:58 PM Rhyann sleeps mainly on her side, but sometimes she will only sleep on her tummy! That's how Madison is, and she's driving me crazy. She'll sleep fine with us if she's on her side, but she keeps ending up on her tummy (that's new). The only way she'll sleep in her bassinet is on her tummy. :sigh *Crystal* 11-04-2007, 03:01 PM I only put Rhy on her tummy when Im awake. Im to scared to have her that way when we are sleeping. Her Dr told me thats fine! LuvNmyAO 11-04-2007, 03:03 PM JJ was a tummy dleeper(thatis how they hadhim in the hospita;) Allie was a back sleeper adn so is Katerina.. the move during the night so who knows hoe they will end up. Jennie 11-04-2007, 03:03 PM She's sleeping on her tummy in her bassinet now. She's only been asleep for about an hour (the longest she's ever slept in there!) and I've checked on her 3 times already. She goes to the doc Tues - I'll ask her and see what she says. *Melissa* 11-04-2007, 03:05 PM Both my boys slept in their boucy chairs the first couple of months. THen they slept in their cribs on their tummys BLBnJVB3 11-04-2007, 03:06 PM He sleeps on his back and side. He has started to roll to his side when we put him down for the night and fall asleep like that. In the morning when I check on him he is on his back. He also falls asleep in his swing and carseat. Bex 11-04-2007, 03:09 PM e sleeps on her back or side, cuz she co=sleeps and falls asleep nursing lol *Crystal* 11-04-2007, 03:09 PM She's sleeping on her tummy in her bassinet now. Your Dr my be anti tummy so if she says its not ok, dont let it stop you. If thats how Madison prefers to sleep let her. I check on Rhy all the time when shes on her tummy, she sleeps better that way! breakaley 11-04-2007, 03:12 PM All three slept on their sides Kat 11-04-2007, 03:16 PM CDC suggests back to lower risk of SIDS, so that is what we do. She will turn herself on her side sometimes and she sleeps in the weird back bend looks like a horse shoe shape :lmao Ashnbri 11-04-2007, 08:07 PM he slept on his back on his boppy...he would not lay flat..now he rolls over on his tummy :rolleyes but I am not worried about it since he has REALLY good head control and can roll all over the place well...so if he has any problems he can cry or fix it. Amanda 11-04-2007, 10:50 PM austin sleeps on his side or his back. he has made his way to his tummy a couple times but I only let him stay that way if I'm awake to watch him AND if he does it himself. I still worry about it but if he's comfy I let him sleep like he wants to :) dannysgirl004 11-04-2007, 11:41 PM Both of mine slept on thier backs till they could roll themselves over to thier tummys. Lefty80 11-04-2007, 11:52 PM Norah slept on her side. Now she sleeps on her tummy! Be careful letting her sleep with ya. I wish I would have never started it! With DH gone it was too easy. Now she won't sleep in her own bed without a 3 hour crying fit. Miranda 11-05-2007, 12:03 AM Arianna would only sleep on her belly after about 3 weeks...it drove me insane, but it was the only way she could calm down. It was scary at first, but after talking ot my dr he told us you cant always go textbook. (heck when i was a baby sleeping on your back was the dangerous thing to do..it always seems to change). Our dr told us to just do what fits our baby in a safe and responsible manor. |
