My DD will not eat her own food, I will make her breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner and she will push her food away and cries to eat mine:hairpull I will be eating the same things as her but she will still want to eat my food:gaah and I have added stress because we are in the potty training stages and I get so upset when she goes in her underware:gaah I'm so stressed, I don't know if I should yell or stand in the middle of traffic. I should have put this in venting.
I'm so depressed :tears:sigh not because what DD is doing but because of everything else..... I'm going to crawl in a hole now:(

I am sorry you are having such a rough time. My dd went through the same thin with food when she was about 2. It gets so frustrating. We all know how frustrating potty training can be to. Just hang in there. Thins do get better. PM me if you ever wanna talk.

just put the food in one bowl or plate. as for potty training, it took me forever and i got extremely fustrated. she actually didnt get fully trained til she started daycare and they said she wasnt allowed to wear pull ups. they make em go to the bathroom and sit on the potty every 20 mins or so.. now she goes by herself... but honestly at home, who has the time to do all that?good luck though!

I'm so sorry girly. Maybe try putting off potty training for a little while longer, she just might not be ready yet. As for the food my DS is that same way and it drives me crazy. I finally stopped letting him eat off my plate and since he wouldn't eat his own food he missed a meal or 2. But he learn that the only way he was going to eat was to eat his own food and it has been great since. He will still sometimes there to get food from my plate but I just tell him no and move him back to his plate and he gets the picture. Good Luck girl.:hugs I'm here if you ever need to talk.:wink

I would put the food on the table and let her serve herself, sometimes that helps.. maybe you should hold off on potty training a bit, sounds like she is going through a control phase right now. :hugs

My DD does that with food. She'll even throw hers on the floor and then come and ask for some of mine! And it's the exact same thing on our plates!
Potty training can be frustrating. Hang in there!

My DD does the same thing with food. She has to have what I'm having off of my plate. It drives me crazy when I'm hungry and just want to eat something.
