I made the most depressing observation. I watched a marathon of this show a couple of weeks ago. In fact one of the shows she was looking for a housekeeper. I am depressed that she has 8 kids and her house looks very clean. I only have 3 and mine is not that clean. Not trashed, but not clean either. :sigh I need to get moving and get my house clean too. I mean if she can do it I should be able to. :lol

Girls, I feel your pain! I have half of the kids that they do and I think I have twice the mess. I'm a SAHM and I don't have any kids at home in the morning... why can't I keep my house clean?

I have on and mine isn't that clean either. I love that show too! I thought I was the only one that watched that show.

I am glad to know I am not the only one who cannot manage to get the house to stay clean. One day they will all be old enough for chores :devil

I do not think I have ever seen a lady on tv with that many mulitples be all belly except her. Most of them seem to spread out everywhere. That sounded so mean, I did not mean for it to be so I hope you all understand what I was getting at. :oops

See now I have read that before. And to be honest they remind me of my Dh and I. I get why she is stressed, they have 8 kids and she is with them all day, everyday. I feel that way with just my 3 kids. But it also makes me appreciate what my dh does do for me more. I got to sort of see us from the outside looking in :lol

They do surely have an interesting dynamic... but I think at least partially that's what makes it so intriguing... in spite of some things. they obviously really love each other, and she loves those babies.... very sweet actually. :wub

Thats the only one I've ever watched too. I felt the same way. It was so annoying. Her and her husband are so mean to each other too. Throwing little snotty comments at each other. What was up with the jackets? A jacket is a jacket who cares if they all match? Their house was very clean though. I figure its because they are on TV all the time. I'd keep my house clean too if I knew all of America was going to see it.

After that show was over there was one about a family with 12 kids. Now that is love and familyness (probably not a word) I want my family to feel like theirs.

I watched the one last night where she was yelling at her hubs in the middle of toysrus! And not only yelling, but ordering him around! I cant stand her....I kinda feel sorry for her family cuz she is SUCH a CONTROL FREAK...drives me insane. I wanna :slap her

I like that show, but I don't like the way she talks to her husband sometimes. How she'll talk down to him and make snide comments, and order him around. It also bothers me how she'll make comments to others when they go out that's sort of putting down her own family. Like during the maid episode, just the way she says like, "Bless anyone who'll try to take this on." Doesn't sound bad, but it's the way she says it like "this" is a really bad thing. Or the 4th of July episode when she's telling everyone to just ignore them coming through. I don't remember what she said but it sounded like a mean comment about how many of them there were. Just things like that and in earshot of the kids-I feel like they're going to start feeling bad they add to how many of them there are like it's their fault.

On that episode when she was looking for a maid, she said she gets down on her hands and knees to scrub the floor like twice a day. I wish I had the drive to keep my house that clean. But with cleaning that much, leaves less time for the kids and one on one time when there are already so many of them.

I think she's REALLY organized. I wish I was that organized, but it seems like she has the 2 older ones take care of the smaller ones too often while she cleans or tries to talk to someone or something. And that bothers me, especially since the 2 older ones are still so young...

I've seen shows where other big families do that too when they go on trips so they don't lose anyone. They can look in the crowd and quickly identify who's wandered off. I remember an episode with the Duggar family where they went to a convention with other big families like theirs, and pretty much everyone at the convention had their family in matching outfits. So u'd see a group of red here, a group of yellow there, etc. I'm sure it makes it a little easier on them when they have so many to keep track of...
