I did not post about this because I was so depressed about it earlier and I had not told Dh.


So the whole story kind of shortened is that I am anal about not getting soap in my rings or bending my prongs and such (maybe I worked in jewelery too long) so I always take them off to wash my hands, hang out at home, play with the kids etc.

Sunday I went grocery shopping, used the ladies room and took my ring off to wash my hands. I put the ring in my sweater pocket instead of my pants. So I notice Sunday night that I have not seen my ring. I checked all my pockets. Anywhere I normally would have put my ring. It was no wher to be found.

So last night I came to the realization that I lost my wedding ring. Anyway this morning I figured out what all I need to do for my insurance to get it replaced.

This evening I e-mailed what happened to Dh and not even 10 minutes after I hit send my babygirl is playing with it. I do not know how this worked out but thank you God that it is at home with me and not lost.

So yeah I am really excited about that and wanted to share. I was so upset that he would be upset or disappointed about me losing it and now I am just happy I got to tell him it was found. :yahoo

Me too. I had been really worried. This morning I was talking to my cousin and when I said it out loud for the first time I almost cried.

i never take mine off...i know this will probably lead to it's early demise...but i would lose my head somedays if it wasn't attached...so i don't want to take any chances on my ring...

Even though it was missing I know that I will not change my habits of taking it off. I will however be a lot more aware of where it actually ends up when I do it. Although I have usually been very good about it. Even my cousin was like "you are so careful with your jewelry I just cannot believe it".

Whoa. Glad that you found it. That is probably one of the reasons why I do not take off mine. I would definitely forget where I put it. Of course I would have to get it off first.. which does not happen easily.
