View Full Version : Water
Am I the only one who finds it pretty much impossible to drink 64+ fl. oz's of water a day?
To me, I drink a lot of water...but I have a very very very hard time trying to drink THAT much. Even if I mix it w/ Crystal Light, i just feel like I cannot drink that much in a day!
I have a package of water bottles sitting in front of me to try to motivate me :lol
(I know that would help w/ swelling)
christymichelle 03-27-2006, 11:07 AM i suck at not drinking enough water. my dh gives me a hard time about it all the time. only b/c he lives me of course but yea, i suck at it.
Germanchick 03-27-2006, 11:08 AM I'm having a difficult time drinking as much as I'm supposed to. Always have. I just carry my bottle around with me in hope I will drink enough. lol
NewBeginnings 03-27-2006, 11:09 AM I have a hard time doing it also.. That's one of the reason I chose not to breast feed because the NICU nurses were like you HAVE to have a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of water, I was like "there's no way I can do that."
I feel sick if I make myself drink a lot of it :sick
I do sometimes but most of the time I have a big glass always filled with water on my counter and drink it threw out the day. Sometimes I drink more than 64oz...
IgglesmumX2 03-27-2006, 11:12 AM I do sometimes but most of the time I have a big glass always filled with water on my counter and drink it threw out the day. Sometimes I drink more than 64oz...

sunshyne 03-27-2006, 11:35 AM Sometimes I have a really hard time drinking alot of water. I just really hate having to pee every five seconds! It does get hard to get down if you are needing to drink alot.
Rachael 03-27-2006, 12:12 PM I guess I dont have much of a choice....I never carry cash for the coke machine and work has bottled water service, so when I get thirsty its my only choice. I definitely drink way more then 64 ounces a day....but if I wasnt working im sure it wouldnt be that way.
Heather 03-27-2006, 01:17 PM I used to drink so much just because I was working so hard at my job. Plus when I was bored it gave me a reason to get up. now that Im home I don't drink that much. I know I should but I also should floss my teeth every day and I don't do that. I don't think its going to kill me not to.
piggypunkinetta 03-27-2006, 01:22 PM I drink mine out of a big cup, still bottled water, but I have to drink water with a straw. Crazy I know. I actually drink 3-4 big cups, 32oz, a day.
Kaymara 03-27-2006, 01:45 PM I craved it and drank probably close to a gallon or a bit more a day. Anywhere I went I had water with me. At home I always had water with me. I was just always thirsty
Brialee 03-27-2006, 02:13 PM I'm usually a good water drinker UNTIL you tell me I HAVE to drink it, the all of a sudden I'm gagging on it. I'm the kind that if there's nothing good to drink I'll have water. I really like it but when it's forced on me, I can't stand it. I also hate having to go to the bathroom every 5 min.
Brandi 03-27-2006, 02:14 PM right now, I'm definitely NOT doing 64 oz a day... not even close. I drink some water when I am thirsty but if I try to gag it down when I'm not thirsty and wantng it, I will throw it back up. So, I just drink as I feel like I need to. I probably only drink about 32 oz a day. Its better than nothing and I'm not going to choke it down if I can't.
Now, with both of my others, I craved ice SOOOOOOOOOO bad that I seriously crunched about a gallon's worth of ice a day. So, between eating ice and drinking my water, I got PLENTY once I was past the morning sickness.
mara_jade81 03-27-2006, 04:26 PM when i was pregnant i was thirsty constantly so i drank lots of water, not sure how much though. i find it hard to drink enough now though between the two kids and everything else i just forget to drink anything.
