would being an honor grad from air force bootcamp increase your chances of getting stationed at any of the bases of your choice?

I'm sure in some cases it could. but I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah, it's supposed to "increase your chances", as far as I know. But, that doesn't really mean much in reality.

Hun, you've posted an awful lot about his station...and honestly, there isn't a thing you can do to sway them from putting him wherever they want. I'm sorry, because I know it sucks, but that is just the way it is.

If you want to be closer to him, consider moving? :hugs

Maybe it supposed to but in my exes case it didnt mean anything they stuck him in the one place he didnt want. lol

Not really. I know with the Navy, they'll bump him up a rank, but it had no bearing on where he'd be station.
Now in Navy's tech schools, if you had the highest top 2 averages, you had a better chance of being stationed where you wanted to. That doesn't always work, seeing how we ended up in Norfolk after C school.

that's probably what I'll end up having to do. That means transferring colleges.
