Adam and I love to torture our poor kitties for entertainment purposes. We would NEVER hurt them, we love the little buggers, but they are super funny because they are still so young and hyper so we like to "help" them entertain us. Things like tying a string to their tails and watching them chase it, or putting tape on their back feet so they walk funny. :rofl

So, what is the worst thing you have done to your pet so that you could have a good laugh? Dress them up? Give them a bubble mohawk in the bath? Anything?

I can't say I've "tortured" any of my animals, lol... but it totally reminds me of Ron White when he's talking about how he hides m&ms and junk in his dogs cheeks when he's sleeping :lmao

The other day the cats were OBSESSED with this shoestring and wouldn't stop playing with it, so we tied one of Lola's back legs to one of Koko's back legs and let them go at it. It was HILARIOUS!

we had one of those lazer pointer things and the cats really love it so...id usually make em run into eachother while chasing that thing.once was an accident and my moms big yellow cat went running into a wall i felt bad about that but it was kinda funny...:oops

ummm...zip tieing my cats paws together. He knows how to chew through them and loves it...he'll bring it to me once it is off. tieing them together......tape on the tails...

Way back when we were having friends over and drinking an decided it would be fun to put foil on our cats tail.:screwy We never laughed so hard in our life. It messes up balance so they are walking around like they are drunk. Not my proudest moment but funny as hell at the time.

my male dog chases the laser pen and barks at it, its So funny, the female one just litterally looks at him and shakes her head. the female one we probably dragged her chew rope around and had her chase it, she isn't easily amused. lol

Tape on the bottom of my kittes paws and string and ribbon around their tails.


Oh also used to put stickers all over their furs, LOL they hated that so much :lol

We would put Listerine strips on my Goldens tongue...OMG..it was funny as shit. after the first time he KNEW when we had them and would start making faces, snarling and sneezing..it was just soooo funny

We haven't tried it with our new golden..but hes so goofy, he'll probably like it:hehe

Dh and I will torture the poodle sometimes by holding him over the bathtub with a little water in it. He starts doggie-paddling over the water and goes faster and faster as he gets close to the water.

Kenzy goes nutts over the laser pointer, oreo well she is pretty laid back and doesn't go crazy for anything really.

I used to have mannequin (sp) heads when I did hair, and some of my guy friends would pull their t-shirt up over their head, and stick the mannequin head out instead, and run after the dog.

He would go berserk! I honestly don't know if he was truly scared, or if he was just playing, but he would run around the house like his tail was on fire, jumping over couches, bouncing off walls, etc.

Like Traci said - not my proudest moment. I would yell at the guys, and then fall over laughing.

When I go home to visit, people will still say to me, 'hey, remember mannequin head?' and everyone cracks up all over again.

We put tape on the cat's feet a couple times and once DH made him "booties" out of a pair of his old socks.. Critter hated it. We also had fun with the laser pointer... I miss that cat!

Sometimes I put a sock over my dog or cat's head and they walk backwards all through the house trying to get out of it! I know that's mean, but is it is oh so funny!

the worst we've done is make cosby chase his tail over and over and over again. he does it normally but if you tap his tail against him he will start chasing it .

When my cat is on the bed, she'll go nuts if I put my hand under a pillow and tease her. She get frustrated when she can't find the hand, but then DH gets involved, and its like there are hands all over the place fo rher to chase and she eventually just plops down and looks at us funny. But, she got me back one day by bitch slapping me on teh face...and licking my nose.

i've wrapped buddy's body in bubble wrap for moving! lol (of course i didn't move him like that)

we use to blindfold buddy and dh would pick him up and spin him around then put him back on the floor. it was hilarious.

and just recently we raked our yard and made a HUGE pile and threw buddy in.

i'm sure there are lots of other things we do, but we have NEVER hurt him on purpose

I scare the crap out of him every chance I get. Like yesterday. He had his head in the toilet and I tried to flush it. To bad he heard me.

Sometimes I shut the door to the laundry room just little to tight so he really has to work to get in there. His food, water and poop box are in there. Its funny to watch him paw at the door until it opens.

we tied our dogs favorite squeaker toy to the back of a remote control truck and drove it around the house..he went mad chasing after it

I grab out a handful of Yogies for the ratties and see how far they can stretch to reach them..

Putting aluminum foil around the cats paws and watch them walk across the hardwood floor.

charlie thinks he's a ninja. so when he brings me a toy on the couch, i try to throw it to make him do crazy flips backward off of the edge of the couch. poor thing doesn't always land gracefully. :giggle but he always comes happily back to the edge of the couch, toy in mouth.

Tie a toy around her neck and watch her spin trying to bite it. If shes in her spot we'll sit on her (not put enough weight to hurt her). Make noises to try and get her to follow it. Walk up quietly behind her and then yell to get her to jump and once she "yelled" back. Standing on the other side of the gate and calling her to watch her jump at the gate but shes too small to jump over.


Its HOURS of entertainment.

peanut butter on her nose, i always laugh at that. i also get her really worked up over her toy so when i throw it, she chases after it so fast she loses control and runs into things, or slides across the kitchen floor :lmao poor thing...

Put my weenie dog in this little dog sweater and watched her roll around on the floor thinking she can get it off. It was hilarious! Of course I had to video tape it too :)
