Our two main alcoholic holiday recipes are Hot Buttered Rum (aka hottie totties), and hot cocoa w/ pepeprmint schapps. I was preggo for the holidays in 2004, and now again in 2007, so no hottie totties for me...but NEXT year I am SO THERE!! :lol

I have a recipe for the hot buttered rum batter - it's got butter in it, brown sugar, cloves and cinnamon...and some other spices and stuff. I found the recipe online because we always would buy the batter back home but couldn't find it out here. Then you mix it with rum and boiling water (like tea) and it's deeeelish. The other is just any old hot cocoa with a shot of peppermint schnapps. That's my favorite - it's what we would always drink when we decorate our tree. ♥

I have a couple drink recipes for the crockpot, but I haven't made them yet so I have no idea how they taste. I also have a Sangria recipe, although that's not really a holiday drink I don't think.

OMG it's Andrea!

This is our Christmas drink in Puerto Rico (it's kinda like an egg nog)

Coquito

2 cans coconut cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-2 cup rum
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high for 5 minutes.
Refrigerate.
Serve cold, sip and enjoy.
