but this one is because he's going to school in San Diego again before the ship leaves with a bunch of other guys and the ship is going to pick them up there. So he will be flying to San Diego on the 24th. So we still get Thanksgiving, but two days later he's gone and I won't see him again for at least 6 months if not 7. :( What's so strange though is I'm not really "upset" about it. I'm so numb to the change of the dates that it's just whatever now. I don't want him to go, but he has to so I would just like to have it start so we can get it over with.

We are officially starting our last week together tomorrow. :( It's going to be a long winter.

Aww.. DH got yanked around like that on the first deployment we went through due to hurricanes.. they'd leave and have to run back to port because the ship was too small to weather the storm.. we said goodbye 3 times..

Hopefully this date sticks and you guys can get the worst over with.. then you'll be able to look forward to homecoming.

Yes we are!!! The start to this deployment has been a rocky road... hopefully it'll be smooth sailing, no pun intended, the rest of the deployment with all the yoyoing in the beginning it was beginning to get a big ominous! We'll both get through this!!!

I want to come home in Jan, but I just don't know. I'm afraid we won't be able to save up what we want to save during deployment if I go. I'm hoping I can make it though!!!
