My beloved is deploying in April. While my Erick has been to Iraq once already (as well as five other countries), this will be my first deployment experience with him. Any support or advice from everyone else here would be most welcomed.

Keep busy. You could go to school, get a job, pick up a hobby that you've thought about trying out. It won't stop you from missing him, but it helps make the time go by. You could always develop an addiction to this place.;) LOL

leeeets seeeeee I ALWAYS tell everyone who asks this to truely Cherish the time that they have. Discus your fears with your man and your needs and wants. Have goals set for the both of you that you will accmplish before he gets home (both DH and I are losing weight) Men and woman think totally differently. We as woman want to hold on to every moment and make it like its the last one ever. Guys dont do this so dont expect him to. Everyone gets emotional around "DDAY" your relationship willp robably be up and down and all over the place. There is alot of stress going on. Its normal. Find out his fears and needs and wants. Take lots of pictures!
