Anyone ever make it with alcohol??? If so what did you use??
I found one recipe that calls for rum but I want to see what others can be used :grin:

My brother has a premade spice pack for it if that helps with suggestions any

It's a hot spiced drink....very yummie :yes

I've commonly heard it made with hard apple cider.

This is what I found online.
I have had the bottom one though. That one is non-alcoholic

Cranberry-Rum Wassail


Assemble

2 1/2 quarts cranberry juice cocktail
2 cups water
1 quart grape juice
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup rum
Apple slices for garnish
Heat the cranberry juice, water, grape juice, orange juice and sugar together until boiling.

Remove from the heat. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes to cool a bit.

Add the rum.

Garnish with apple slices.

Serve warm.

My brother wanted to try apple vodka....but I am not sure about that ..plus I'm not a big vodka fan :giggle
