Went to open mic night here at my dorm last night and one of the singers' voices reminded me of the guy I was "talking" to and something that happened just after Spring Break, so here it is:

Moment of Bliss
I think back to that night
with a smile on my face
but a sadness in my heart
sitting on your lap
your arm around my waist
and my head on your shoulder
sitting there together
I listened to your somber voice as you sang
wishing the moment would last forever
feeling close to you in a moment of bliss
I gently pressed my lips against your forehead
not realizing this was my mistake
my mistake that would take you away from me
a moment of bliss
that nothing can change
except for now I know
that your arms will never be around me again

Well, he said he realised the night that I kissed him on the forehead how serious things were getting. He was hurt really bad in his previous relationship and isn't sure if he is ready for another one yet. As well as the fact that he'll be in Wisconsin all summer and he didn't want to deal with a distance relationship.
