Keep him up to date on all the things that go one. Dh wasn't here for the birth of our first and didn't meet her till she was 4 1/2 months old. she did fine. It doesnt ever get normal but it does get better. Becuase it has to. Like someone else said take alot of pictures. Enjoy time with you son.
